Love on Avenue

I will admit, these pizza-eating cuties were the first reason I loved this shoot, but then I saw some more sneak peeks and just LOVED the city vibes, beautiful dresses and amazing decor inspiration.

Just because you are considering eloping, does not mean you need to travel halfway around the world to do so, but don’t take my word for it, let these photos do the talking, and convince you!

Who has not seen their lover
Walking at ease,
Walking like any other
A pavement under trees,
Not singular, apart,
But footed, featured, dressed,
Approaching like the rest
In the same dapple of the summer caught;
Who has not suddenly thought
With swift surprise:
There walks in cool disguise,
There comes, my heart.

Love on the avenue was something special to me as I had always wanted to shoot a fun elopement that was still classy.
It was perfect… this shoot would be placed in a home in the middle of Pretoria with the most beautiful view. With our earthy textures, hints of orange and white roses it was pure love.
We all really loved the idea of a simple elopement style as it shows brides that they do not have to stress about having a big wedding. Elopements are the perfect way for you and your partner to share your love and really embrace your day with all its details and happiness that comes with it. Elopements also don’t always have to be in the mountains or far away, elopements can be urban and full of fun. We all decided that boots and pizza were a perfect touch to add to our models’ personalities, I mean a bride has gotta eat, right?
All in all, the team worked so well together and brought something so simple together and gave it life! I couldn’t have asked for a better setting, team and day – Celine, Photographer

Was so much fun being a part of the shoot and working alongside such amazing creatives. Loved the theme, it was different and quirky and signifies the change covid has brought upon the industry. Many weddings I’ve been a part of this year have been smaller, more personalised and intimate in contrast to the larger more traditional ones pre covid – Dominique, Makeup artist

What an honour it was to work with a team of creatives who are dedicated, professional and pay great attention to detail. All of these attributes are the reason why this styled shoot was such a great success. It was a great team effort. We really wanted to bring something authentic to all our followers and future clientele to showcase what we can do and also that we are paying attention to trends and that we are aware of where the wedding industry is going and we are all for it – Izelle, Wedding Planner Yup, this styled shoot definitely is proof that your elopement does not have to be at some exotic destination, running around your home town, making memories with the one you love can be just as magical!

I just loved this shoot, well done to all involved, you guys really created some amazing City Magic!
