Winter Warmer Meal Ideas

As the last few days of winter are here, and a chilly cold front is expected this weekend, we thought there was no time like now to share some amazing winter warmer meal ideas with you from our resident dietician, Aimee Robson from Bloom Bride.

Aimee shared 8 of her tried and tested recipes with us that she enjoys cooking in her kitchen,
which we have put into a handy free printable just for you! (see below)

Baked Oats
Butternut + Sweet Potato Soup
Grilled Veggie + Quinoa Bowl
Veggie Packed Spag Bol
Thai Curry
Spiced Hot Chocolate
and lastly,
Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates

Okay, YUM! How amazing are these recipes?

Today we are sharing her Spiced Hot Chocolate recipe… think of it as a little “taster”… pun intended 😉

Spiced Hot Chocolate
(Serves 2)

A hug in a mug on a cold mizzy day. If you are wanting to up the satiety of this, add a scoop of protein powder at the end.  

1 cup milk of choice
½ cup of water
1tbs cocoa powder
4 squares dark chocolate
1tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
2tsp honey


  1. Place all dry ingredients except honey, in a blender + blitz for a couple of seconds until smooth. 
  2. Heat up milk + water on the stove. 
  3. Add milk to nutribullet, along with honey. Blitz for 30s. 
  4. Return to pot to heat up further if needed. 
  5. Pour into a mug and enjoy! 

We are ready to call it quits, put on a movie, and sip on our mugs of spiced hot chocolate… how about you?
